1. What Is Claude Code Mods Hub?

Claude Code Mods Hub (https://claudecodemods.net) is an independent community catalog and developer tooling platform dedicated to the ecosystem of the official Anthropic Claude Code command-line interface (CLI).

With the introduction of runtime lifecycle events, tool interception hooks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) bridges in Claude Code CLI v2.1.287+, developers can extend the AI assistant's terminal capabilities. Our mission is to provide a curated, transparent, and security-vetted directory so developers can safely discover, audit, and install terminal mods.

2. Our Mission & Values

  1. Zero-Trust Security by Default: Mods execute directly inside developer workstation shells. We provide automated AST heuristic scanners, network egress checks, and permission boundaries before recommending any mod.
  2. Transparent Curation: Every mod listing includes verified source code repositories, open-source licenses, permission scopes, and clear blast-radius assessments.
  3. Developer-First Productivity: From interactive installation command generators to architectural comparison guides, we build tooling to make working with Claude Code seamless.

3. Independent Community Project

Claude Code Mods Hub is operated as an independent open-source community directory.

Disclaimer: Claude Code Mods Hub is not created by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Anthropic PBC. "Claude" is a registered trademark of Anthropic PBC. All mod packages, tools, and code snippets remain the property of their respective open-source creators.

4. How Mods Are Vetted

Before being indexed on our platform, community mod submissions undergo a multi-stage review process:

  • AST Static Heuristics: Detection of suspicious eval(), shell spawning, dynamic code execution, and credential extraction patterns.
  • Egress & Network Auditing: Inspection of hardcoded external endpoints or unauthorized telemetry pings.
  • Permission Boundaries: Clear documentation of whether a mod requires read-only context injection or write-level filesystem access.

5. Contact & Collaboration

Have an idea for a mod, an ecosystem integration, or security feedback? We welcome contributions from the community:
